Oscar Peterson & Charles Mingus
First half
The CJO will be performing original arrangements of Charles Mingus Music. Mingus was an amazing bass player and innovative composer, using all sorts of roots and blues colors interspliced with individual musicians improvisations. You will LOVE his music.
Second half
The second half of the concert will be a very special premier arrangement by Greg Baker & Johnny Summers of Oscar Peterson's Canadiana Suite!
